Registrar
Packer seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a School Registrar. As a pivotal member of our administrative staff, the School Registrar will be responsible for managing student records, scheduling, and academic data to ensure the smooth functioning of our educational institution. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in scheduling software, particularly Veracross, and will demonstrate proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential student records. Please note that this is a 12 month position and some work is required during the summer months.

Responsibilities:
Master Schedule Preparation:
Organize and coordinate activities related to the preparation of the master schedule.
Input data into the computer system for generating schedules and managing schedule changes.
Managing scheduling activities for all divisions.
Student Records and Scheduling:
Handle computer work related to student records and scheduling, including preparing, compiling, and entering information online.
Generate specific lists, reports, schedules, and academic reports.
Configure grading periods and publish academic reports.
Enrollment Management:
Manage student course enrollments and maintain accurate records.
Academic Record Archives:
Maintain student academic record archives, including grade reports, transcripts, health records, and college counseling documents.
Grading and Reporting:
Compute student class rank and grade point average.
Coordinate the grading process, including verification and correction of grades and publication of report cards.
Exmissions Support:
Create accounts for Department of Education entrance exams.
Support data requests for students applying out.
General Administrative Support:
Assist campus administration and counselors with the preparation of reports and student data information.
Process work permits.
Data Integrity and Management:
Commit to the integrity and accuracy of data and develop workflows for maintaining high-quality data.
Manage vendor support requests related to course registration, scheduling, and academic documents.
Stay abreast of changes, updates, and new features within the data systems used.
Collaboration and Process Improvement:
Collaborate with divisions and other departments to improve processes related to course registration, scheduling, and academic records.
Strive to learn new processes, workflows, and systems quickly and completely.

Qualifications:
Experience and proficiency in scheduling software (Veracross).
Experience with Filemaker Pro is desirable.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Commitment to data integrity and privacy.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to changes and learn new processes quickly.
